Introducing the 2009 Plain City Area Ball Association

Little League Queen Candidates

 

Jasmin Dorr

 

Jasmin is five-years-old and is in Kindergarten at Plain City Elementary School.  Her sister, Emily, plays on the 8U Red Softball team.

 

Why do you want to be the PCABA Little League Queen?

Because it might be fun and I like to dress up.

 

How will you go about selling raffle tickets to support PCABA?

I will go to people’s houses and ask them if they would like to buy a ticket.  I’ll ask my family and friends to buy tickets as well.

 

How long have you, or your brother or sister, been playing ball in Plain City?

My sister, Emily, has been playing softball for two years.

 

What is your favorite hobby?

I like to play soccer, dance ballet, and draw and color pictures.

 

What do you like best about Plain City?

I like that my Mamaw and Papaw also live in Plain City!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Madeline Frambes

 

Madeline is six-years-old and in Kindergarten at Plain City Elementary School.  Her brother plays for the 10U Baseball Indians team.

 

Why do you want to be the PCABA Little League Queen?

Because it would be fun to be in the parade, wear a crown, and wave to my friends and family.

 

How will you go about selling raffle tickets to support PCABA?

I will sell them to my friends, family and my Dad’s co-workers.

 

How long have you, or your brother or sister, been playing ball in Plain City?

My brother has been playing ball in Plain City for three years, since he was in Kindergarten.

 

What is your favorite hobby?

Painting and drawing are my favorite hobbies.

 

What do you like best about Plain City?

I love my school, Pastime Park and all of my friends in Plain City.

 

 

 

 

 

Kaitlyn Kimbler

 

Kaitlyn is six-years-old and in Kindergarten at Plain City Elementary School.  She plays for the 8U Blue Softball team.

 

Why do you want to be the PCABA Little League Queen?

I love to dress up pretty and ride in parades.  I also want my brother to walk me out on the field.  I am very outgoing and love to meet new people!

 

How will you go about selling raffle tickets to support PCABA?

I plan to sell all of my raffle tickets to friends and family.

 

How long have you, or your brother or sister, been playing ball in Plain City?

I started playing T-Ball last year.  This year I went through evaluations and was able to play in the softball league.  My brother, Dayton, has been playing ball for four years.

 

What is your favorite hobby?

My favorite hobby is playing softball and soccer.  I love to be outside playing dolls with my friends wearing my flip flops.

 

What do you like best about Plain City?

I love the people in Plain City.  I like to walk to the Eskimo Queen with my family for ice cream!

 

 

 

 

 

 

Emma Rector

 

Emma is five-years-old and in preschool at Plain City Elementary School.  She plays T-Ball for the Red Sox team.

 

Why do you want to be the PCABA Little League Queen?

I think it will be really fun.  I like to dress up and ride in a big parade—just like a real Princess!

 

How will you go about selling raffle tickets to support PCABA?

I plan to ask my dad and my grandma and grandpa to take me with them to work.  I will ask people there if they would like to buy raffle tickets.

 

How long have you, or your brother or sister, been playing ball in Plain City?

This is my first year in T-Ball.  My brother has been playing for two years now.

 

What is your favorite hobby?

My favorite hobbies are playing T-Ball, soccer, coloring and playing with friends.

 

What do you like best about Plain City?

All of my friends live in Plain City.

 

 

 

 

 

Rosemarie Schaner

 

 

Rosemarie is seven-years-old and in first grade at Plain City Elementary School.  She plays for the 8U Neon Green Softball team.

 

Why do you want to be the PCABA Little League Queen?

I want to be Little League Queen because I want to represent the best Little League Association in Ohio!

 

How will you go about selling raffle tickets to support PCABA?

I plan to have a bake sale.  My sponsor, Classic Bronze, will help me sell tickets at their business.  My family and friends will also help me sell tickets.

 

How long have you, or your brother or sister, been playing ball in Plain City?

I played T-Ball last year and now I am playing Softball.  My brother has played ball for five years.

 

What is your favorite hobby?

My favorite hobbies are dancing, cheerleading, and my drama class. 

 

What do you like best about Plain City?

I love how all the people of Plain City support their Pioneers!
