Flag Football

Divisions: 
  1. Pee Wee (Grades K-2)
  2. Juniors (Grades 2-5th)
  • 2nd graders will be placed in their appropriate division depending on evaluations or parent preference
Games:
  • Games will be played on Sunday's for all divisions.
  • Pee Wee games will be played at the Junior High if numbers allow
  • Junior games will be played that the Junior High and at North Union High School for an away game.  Marysville will be joining the Junior Division, but they will play at our Junior High.
Schedule: 
  • Evaluations will be around the end of July
  • Practices will start Early August
  • Games will begin Mid to late August
  • 8 game season
  • Dates are subject to change
Equipment:
Parents will be responsible for:
  • a mouth piece (mouth piece must be used for all practices and games)
  • rubber cleats (no metal cleats will be allowed)
PCABA will provide game shirt, shorts, and flags.

Tackle Football

Ages:
  • Tackle football is available for those entering 3rd through 6th grade
  • Number of teams will be dependent upon total number signed up
  • PCABA teams will compete in the Marysville Junior Football Association (MJFA)
  • Available divisions: 3rd grade instructional, D1 (4th-5th grade combined), and D2 (6th grade)
Games:
  • D1/D2 games will be played on Saturdays unless scheduling dictates otherwise
  • 3rd grade instructional games may be on Saturdays or during the week
  • Games may be played at Marysville, Buckeye Valley, or Plain City
Schedule: 
  • Registration will be open mid-May to mid-June
  • Pre-draft combine/team assignments to be completed during late July
  • Conditioning/practice will start late July/early August
  • Games will begin late August, typically prior to Labor Day weekend (no games on Labor Day weekend)
  • 6-week regular season with potential season end tournament (no more than 8 games total)
  • Dates are subject to change
Equipment:
Parents will be responsible for:
  • mouthpiece (mouthpiece must be used for all practices and games)
  • rubber cleats (no metal cleats will be allowed)
  • black football pants with pads.
  • practice jersey
PCABA will provide game jerseys, shoulder pads, and helmets.
Additional protective gear may be purchased at the discretion of the parent.
